Commissions
As a composer Michael Whiticker has had a major career internationally and in Australia. As well as a wide range of composition commissions, in Australia he has been full-time composer-in-residence with bodies such as the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Australian Opera, and a range of community organisations and festivals. He has a long history of working closely with dance and theatre companies as a collaborative creative musician and has also composed a number of film scores and designed a range of sound installations for galleries and museums.
